All mimūn products are cosmetic items formulated for external use only. They are not medicinal products, pharmaceutical preparations, or medical devices. Nothing on this website constitutes medical or dermatological advice. mimūn makes no claims that its products diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or mitigate any skin condition, medical condition, or disease.

2. EU Safety Testing Standard

Although mimūn is a US-based company, all products are formulated and tested to the safety requirements of EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009. This includes independent safety assessment by a qualified cosmetic safety assessor, stability testing, and challenge testing where applicable. We apply this standard voluntarily because we believe it represents best practice in cosmetic safety.

3. Mandatory Patch Test

Before applying any mimūn product to a larger area of skin, we strongly recommend performing a patch test. Apply a small amount of product to the inner wrist or behind the ear and wait at least 24 hours. If you experience any redness, itching, swelling, or irritation, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. A patch test reduces — but does not eliminate — the risk of a reaction.

4. Risk of Allergic Reaction

Fragrance products, including those formulated with natural and botanical ingredients, carry an inherent risk of allergic or sensitising reactions in some individuals. The presence of natural essential oils, plant extracts, and aromatic compounds means that even products without synthetic additives may cause reactions in sensitive individuals. By using mimūn products, you acknowledge and accept this risk.

5. Not Suitable for All Individuals

mimūn products are not suitable for all skin types or all individuals. They are not recommended for use on broken, irritated, or compromised skin. They are not intended for use by infants or young children. Individuals who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or undergoing medical treatment should consult a healthcare professional before use.

6. Individual Results May Vary

Fragrance perception, longevity, and skin interaction vary significantly between individuals based on skin chemistry, body temperature, diet, and other factors. mimūn does not guarantee that any product will perform identically on all users or in all conditions.

7. Storage and Handling

Store products away from direct sunlight, heat, and humidity. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Do not ingest. If swallowed, seek immediate medical attention.
