Why can't I return an opened product?

Fragrance and cosmetic products that have been opened cannot be resold for hygiene and safety reasons. Once the seal is broken, we cannot verify the integrity or condition of the product. We encourage you to review ingredient lists carefully before purchasing. If you have questions about whether a product is right for you, contact us at [email protected] before ordering.

What is a patch test and why is it important?

A patch test is a simple precautionary measure that helps identify whether your skin may react to a product before you apply it more broadly. Apply a small amount of product to the inner wrist or behind the ear and wait at least 24 hours. If you notice any redness, itching, swelling, or discomfort, do not use the product and consult a healthcare professional. We recommend a patch test for all customers, particularly those with sensitive skin or known fragrance allergies.

I had a skin reaction. What should I do?

If you experience a skin reaction, discontinue use immediately and rinse the affected area with water. If the reaction is severe or persistent, seek medical advice. Please also contact us at [email protected] so we can document the reaction and assist you. We aim to respond within 72 hours.

What does "clean fragrance" mean at mimūn?

At mimūn, "clean" means we formulate without parabens, phthalates, synthetic musks, mineral oil, formaldehyde-releasing preservatives, and sulphates. It does not mean "chemical-free" — all ingredients are chemicals — nor does it mean "non-allergenic." There is no universal regulatory definition of "clean beauty." Our use of the term reflects our own formulation standards.

Are your products tested to EU standards even though you're a US company?

Yes. Although mimūn is a US-based company, we voluntarily formulate and test all products to the safety requirements of EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009. This includes independent safety assessment by a qualified cosmetic safety assessor, full INCI ingredient disclosure, and allergen declaration above EU-regulated thresholds. We apply this standard because we believe it represents best practice in cosmetic safety.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Orders are processed within 2–3 business days. Delivery times vary by destination and carrier. Estimated timelines are provided at checkout and in your dispatch confirmation email. For international orders, customs duties and import taxes may apply and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Are mimūn products safe during pregnancy?

mimūn products are cosmetic items and are not evaluated for safety during pregnancy. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or under medical supervision, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider before using any new fragrance or cosmetic product.
